in the essence of james brown (possible spike lee movie), i feel good. christmas was great. 2006 is coming to a close. ybp is near its 100th post.

and now, on to the news!

kotaku recently did an interview with outkast’s big boi to discuss his new upcoming side-project def jam: icon. while i can’t say ‘daddy fat sacks’ is the most eloquent of artists, i’ll always be a fan. i mean, let’s face it. aquemeni is probably one of the greatest albums ever. no….ever.

this holiday brought a lot of buzz surrounding the new hack of firmware for the psp. hacker dark alex has created a way to play ripped ps1 games on the psp sans the sony store. while you undoubtedly risk bricking your psp, the methods will eventually iron themselves out for the public to enjoy.

continuing with the theme, ‘hacking christmas 2006′, engadget via digg via some other site has released a way for all the early adopters to keep their copies of microsoft’s new operating system, windows vista, activated…permanently. as mentioned in the article and many digg user’s comments, don’t bet on gates and company to sleep on this workaround too long.
