If you haven’t tuned into the award-winning HBO original show The Wire, what are you waiting for? Currently on the fourth season, The Wire centers on the lives of four young boys as they traverse adolescence in the drug-saturated streets of West Baltimore. America definitely has an obsession with police dramas, but this show gives the concept a whole new spin and is now focusing more on the education of adolescents in the drug-saturated streets.
Missing Soul Food? Check out the new black family drama Lincoln Heights on ABC Family. It’s about a young cop who moves back to his old neighborhood with his family.
For comedy, head over to the CW, where Monday night is “our” night. On Mondays you can watch Everybody Hates Chris, All of Us, Girlfriends, and The Game. (I haven’t been able to watch it, but someone tell me, is Girlfriends still any good without the fourth girlfriend?)
The Boondocks has taken a hiatus, but will return this spring.
Other great shows are Lost, Grey’s Anatomy, and The Nine. If you’ve missed a few (or all) episodes this season, ABC lets you watch full episodes online. Over on NBC I like Law & Order: SVU and I’ve been told that The Office is hilarious.

As far as Girlfriends is concerned, you’re not missing anything. I think this will be the last season unfortunately. Good news tho, Season 1 will be out on DVD Feb. 27. 22 episodes, but no extras (like outtakes, commentary, games, etc.) but who cares…you get 22 episodes of the Fab 4 in LA
