hewlett-packard, the loveable company who acquired compaq, is debuting a new series webcast in conjunction with cnn on its website called ‘change artist‘. its meant as ‘a resource to help executives manage change more effectively’.
while you may not be in the most immediate ‘executive’ position right now (or maybe you are), the first edition of the webcast features laverne council, the CIO of johnson-johnson and a prominent african-american in today’s corporate america. as former vice president of IT with dell, inc., ms. council has focused her efforts towards the international community and its role of effecting change when governing an influential corporate entity.
