shame on me for not watching more colbert report in real-time now that i’m back in the states. i guess the gift of dvr, internet video clips, online discussion boards, and bittorrent downloads are spoiling my quality time with t.v.

i found this video clip of colbert getting on the news outlets that jumped on obama for not remembering which magazine he quoted in his book dreams from my father regarding an article that detailed a man so ashamed of his blackness that he bleached his skin. it reiterates how pointless a lot of the issues news media tries to turn into fodder in the political arena.
