the young black professional guide would like to announce the completion of rsspect.org, a new project that, hopefully, will begin networking a lot of the black blogs.
the concept of rsspect.org is very simple. it is a neat little web application that acts as a headline feed reader for a variety of blogs surrounding the african-american experience. it’s aim is to not only gain visibility to these blogs, but also empower our readers to enjoy our network of opinions.
so, tell your friends about it, bookmark it (ctrl+D), and hit us up with suggestions. you can leave them in the comments or hit us up at rsspect {at} gmail {dot} com.
also, if we’ve forgot your site, hit us up! we’ll be sure to add it.
updated: the creation of rsspect.org has also garnered some attention to recent discussion about the lack of representation of african-americans in the blogosphere. apparently, this discussion has gained some steam from its attention of few black political bloggers, including steve guilliard of newsblog who recently passed. hopefully rsspect.org is inline with his vision and can add to the discussion to the medium giving transparency to the bigotry and racism still prevalent in our society.

The site is great. You can make it very personable to the blogs you read by moving the boxes in what ever order your heart desires. You can even delete some of the blog feeds that you don’t care for. All in all, it’s a good one stop for blogs. Good job Fredric.
