Congratulations for Choosing Love!
Indeed, our friends, creators and editors Kim and Fredric were married yesterday and are on their way to their honeymoon.
At the reception, Kim’s sister, and maid of honor, gave a customary toast but offered something I had never heard before. She said, “i
nstead of thinking life is too short to spend it with one person” she encouraged those listening to consider that perhaps “life is too short not to find someone to share and enjoy it with.”
The comment made me think of all our choices. In each moment we have the option to choose the negative or the positive; we can affirm the good or the perceived bad. Yesterday Kim and Fredric chose love. They chose the strong, faithful examples of their parents and close, married friends. They chose to believe in the love God is, God promised and nurtures. Through the unmistakable glare of war, poverty, sickness, cynicism and despair, Kim and Fredric chose to see hope, faith, and truth. For, we have not been given a spirit of fear, but the spirit of power, of courage and resolution; the spirit of love.
So early this morning, fresh from seeing the new couple off to their destination, I say “thanks” to you both for being an inspiration. Thank you for being examples. And, congratulations for choosing love. It looks good on you!
PS - the cake was delicious!!

Way to go guys! Congratulations. Are you going to post pictures when you get back or is that too personal? Hit us with some cool honeymoon pics at least. Congrats again.

Congrats to the newlyweds!
Question. Why do so many people make the decision NOT to choose love?

I agree with you wholeheartedly, Garry. It was a wonderful wedding and I always think that it’s commendable to take that step. Just being at the wedding yesterday made me relive some of the moments and wonderful times that I share with my wife, Adrienne. Choosing love was the best decision that I have ever made, and it continues to pay dividends daily. To Kimberly and Fredric, I wish nothing but happiness!
