All that information and more is available at Earth 911, the Nation’s Premier Environmental Resource (or so they say :). You can read up on environmental news and innovations, check for local resources and find creative new ways to enjoy your everday activities in a more eco-friendly way. There is even a kids section to help children learn more about the environment.

The information is as exciting as it is useful. For instance, did you know that Ford is manufacturing the first seat foam made of soy-based products, that a process called “wet-cleaning” is a more enviro-friendly alternative to dry-cleaning, and that there is a University that uses Landfill gas as a primary energy source? Now you know, and knowing is half the battle.
