I love the opening sentence in the following Associated Press article. Part of me thinks it was written by a hip-hop fan. : )

“Not only rappers fight at award shows: Kid Rock and Tommy Lee tussled in the audience at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night.”

I wonder if the Kid Rock/Tommy Lee fight – arguably over a woman – will start a national conversation about the “dangers” of rock music. Or perhaps, people will examine the depiction of women (like Rock and Lee fling Pamela Anderson) in rock and roll culture?

Probably not. That would be too much like right.
