black friday 2007 is almost here. yep, we’ll just skip right past thanksgiving, its spiritual meaning and reflective nature, and go straight to the consumer-driven money machine that is the pandemonium of 5am deals on crap. while yours truly won’t be standing in-line or clamoring over helpless children to snag a $300 laptop, i wish all of you the best of luck.
just remember our ybp savings tip posted yesterday regarding how to smartly go about buying your holiday gifts, especially on black friday.

The consumerist nature of most public holidays is a bit scary. Over here in the UK we dont have the Thanksgiving but we here enough stories about it and how just like Easter and Christmas it has become so commercial.
Shame really because so much of that spending ever comes back into the community that those ad are targeted at.
