My Holiday Playlist
Alright, to continue with that holiday party planning, you are going to need a holiday party playlist. ![]()
You can put one together for the get together, give a HOT Christmas mix as a gift, or just to play at the house on Christmas. Here are some suggestions. (WARNING: although I do have the largest Christmas CD collection of anyone I know, this is not a definitive list. It does not purport to confer greatness or mastery to any of the titles or artists. Just some jams from some jammin’ people. And, I didn’t necessarily include all the standards, cause it’s good to change it up sometimes). My Ultimate Playlist:

- Jesus, Born On This Day - Mariah Carey
- Breath of Heaven - Oleta Adams

I have to add two of my favorites to your playlist because for me…Christmas just would not be the same without them. The first, my favorite pity party wallow in defeat Christmas jam…What Do the Lonely Do At Christmas. And finally…a James Brown classic, Santa Claus Go Straight to the Ghetto. YAY!

Hold up, wait a minute. Ya gotta have “This Christmas” by Donnie Hathaway and “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer” by The Temptations.
