I hesitate to ask that with the steadily-declining news about the economy. But, this site may bring good news.

I caught a report on the TODAY Show about missingmoney.com. It was part of a segment on how to budget better and find new sources of cash and financial relief. The site, by the National Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators (NAUPA), compiles information from state governments about unclaimed money from taxes, closed bank accounts, stocks, utility deposits, insurance and more. So check it out, I had one friend who found $75. That’s what, a tank and a half of gas? Cell phone bill? Every little bit helps!
