America has a problem with Truth when it puts a spotlight on white America. If it is something negative about blacks then it is okay to put it out there. This reporter has been put in his place by this man in a very clear and open way by a man of God who is able to see the truth about our nation. America doesn’t like for a black person to raise issues about our society or country and it is taken differently than if it were a white person. Truth will always rise. America better come together and get back to her foundation on which she was formed. This country was established on Christian principles.
First, I have to ask… Why was big boy just standing behind him, like he was just waiting for something to pop off? Does Father Pfleger have muscle? Wait, was that 8Ball? I think it was!
Second… He shat on Fox News. That reporter lost, big time. I wonder why the interview wasn’t cut short.
Third… I have never seen a white person fight so hard to defend a non-white person ever in my life. Seriously, I’ve seen white people go to bat for non-people (dogs, the environment) pretty aggressively, but NEVER for a non-white person. Yup, I’m sheltered, but still. I’m glad I saw that. It restored my faith in the notion that some people truly are capable of embracing perspectives outside their own ethnicities. (or something…) I’m not saying I am, but, lol.
Fourth… That reporter lost.
Fifth… Are we going to see this interview on television a bunch of times like everything else? lolololol noooope!
Sixth… Wow, he really shat. I haven’t seen a white person that mad since Ruben won American Idol.
I am soooo in love with Father Pfleger. I think I may convert to Catholicism. He deserves an Emmy Award for this one….not for acting but for making FOX News look like the idiots they are (I know there isn’t a category for this, but shouldn’t there be?) I’m glad he has a big black man as his bodyguard to intimidate the puny FOX reporters. For real though, who are the knuckleheads that do this hateful, sleezy, National Inquirer-type journalism.
Can we get more of the Father on mainstream media? Please oh please?
Okay, one more thing (I had to watch it again)….at around the 30 second mark, he BROKE IT DOWN! His head started shifting from side to side and his finger had actions similar to the Daddy on Tyler Perry’s House of Payne.
Seriously, what he said at countdown :30, is precisely how I feel mainstream America takes Dr. King out of context. In his late years (after the ‘I Had a Dream’ Speech’ during ‘64-’68), he turned rather radical. His speech on 4/4/67, mirrored Rev. Wright’s 9/16/01 sermon. No one lifts up this King, but they always want to use the piece of his most famous speech (”judging on content of character”, etc). Hannity and O’Reilly love to take this road. We have a national holiday for this man, yet forget how the gov’t literally hated him. Reagan almost keeled over when he had to sign the holiday into legis. McCain voted against the King holiday in 1983. Maybe Rev Wright will have a holiday in 2033. Doubt it though. Also read the Book of Jeremiah in the Bible. Interesting how the Jeremiah of the 21st century is mirroring the prophet in God’s Word.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for showing this. It was great to see this, and so enlightening to see the pastor sticking up for right in the way that he did.
I feel a wrong has been done (not the first time I admit). A wrong has been done, and not even Obama has owned up to put it right. I also believe the Jeremiah Wright said nothing wrong. He was a victim of the media, and no one has put it right. The full recording of what Wright said is up on youtube for all to see, and if people saw it, they would realize that what Wright said was accurate, not hateful, but truthful. But people aren’t showing it.
I don’t know Wright, but I hate the fact that he has been judged on things that were taken out of context by the media, (who had their own agenda) and most people have just taken it and swollowed it without a second thought.
And when Obama distanced himself from Wright in the way that he did, he also took part in the wrong doing. I understand that Obama felt he had to do the political thing due to his position, but I still feel it was wrong. It just proves that it’s all a game and however good Obama is, he has to play it the same as everyone else.
Biggup to Michael Pfleger. Boo to the reporter. Jokes about the big black guy that just stood there
