If you’re anything like me, when someone drops a load on your plate the first thing you do is figure out how to organize everything and write out a to-do list.
Well, since I’m mostly on the computer and I know that by now there is someone who has invented an easy way to create a to-do list, I googled “to-do list.” And wouldn’t you know, one of the first results was the most simple yet efficient to-do list website: todoist.com. This site makes it easy to organize and categorize all of the “to-dos” you may have. The site features Gmail and Firefox plug-ins so that you can easily integrate your to-do list in with your everyday task managing.
I think the statement below by the creator of the site says it all:
The Zen of Todoist
Now is better than later.
Later is better than never.
Organized is better than messy.
Big things are composed by smaller things.
Smaller things are done by action.
Think like a person of action.
Act like a person of thought.
The beginning is half of every action.
The longest journey starts with the first step.
Everything should be made as simple as possible.
But not simpler.
Celebrate any progress.
Don’t wait to get perfect.
Deadlines and stress are a part of life.
